A junction box used for mechanical attachment and protection of components against external influences. The junction can be installed on poles, portals or walls using proper mounting. The junction box contains a synchronization unit for signal interconnection and time synchronization between system components, e.g., camera units, radars, satellite time unit, external IR illumination units, or overview cameras. All connected components are powered through electronic fuses, which can be remotely monitored and reset. The unit monitors the connected components and provides service access to them. The unit can send diagnostic data via Ethernet and can be managed using a web interface.
